La Ruta dels Refugis is a route that runs through the most emblematic mountains of the Costa Daurada, linking the Natural Park of the Serra de Montsant (Priorat) with the Prades Mountains (Baix Camp), full of surprising places that transmit tranquillity and harmony.
The route generates a series of emotions that make each section unique and spectacular. With a total of 90 km, it is divided into four stages to make the route as comfortable as possible. . It can be done in 3 or 4 days, although it can be adapted according to the physical condition of the athlete.
We invite you to discover a fantastic route through southern Catalonia. You will spend the nights in the refuges of Cornudella de Montsant, La Mussara, Mont-ral and Prades Park, where they will offer you the peace and quiet and the necessary rest to face a new day of route, full of energy.
The landscapes are of inescapable beauty. Walking along the paths you will pass through a whole series of emblematic spaces of our territory; from the path of the old Carthusian monasteries, Siurana on top of the cliffs, the Gorges of the river Siurana, the uninhabited village of Mussara, the path of the Tosques, the refreshing Eagle’s nest (niu de L’Àliga), the Tossal de la Baltasana, Albarca, hermitages, and many others.
Its serpentine paths will lead you to discover the small villages and their hidden corners scattered throughout these mountains full of adventures.
